This toughra signed manuscript from the Ottoman Empire dates back to the period of Sultan Ahmed III. It is a document for concluding a sales contract in that era.

This contract was signed by several well-known people at that time. An important and beautiful document of extraordinary beauty.

Handwritten in black ink and decorated with intricate forms in multiple colours and gilding. 

Period: 1145 AH (1733 AD), the decorations were added at a later date.

Dimensions: 95 x 38 cm without frame
