(SOLD after auction) Ottoman period Pasha suit

This impressive pasha suit consists of a long coat and trousers. Both are beautifully decorated with golden embroidery. The coat is lined with fine red silk and bears two (non-period) medals. The material of the suit is a heavy, black felt. The suit is in very good condition but does have a repair on the trouser leg, which does not deterre from its beauty.

The suit would have been worn by a Pasha, an Ottoman minister of the government.
