These wonderful lithographs are picture perfect. The lithographs are hand-coloured. Central are people from the Orient in traditional costumes. Asian, Ottoman, Persian rulers to Chinese, Turkish, Japanese merchants.
They were once part of a book by Auguste Wahlen about people of the world.
This set consists of 11 pieces, and among others several Polynesian representations.
They are in very good condition.
